Founder Tech Stack: Daniel Tian,
Co-Founder and CTO of Zingage

Project & Customer Management

Linear – Project management / CRM
"Right now, our entire company is run on Linear. It's phenomenal. We use Linear for new employee onboarding. Every employee has a new project on Linear, and they can assign themselves on tickets. It's almost like our CRM as well. Each customer also gets their own project. And so yeah, we're big Linear fans. Their product is beautiful. And we try to just max out every use case they provide."

Marketing & Creative Tools

Clay & No-Code Tools – Marketing / creative tools
"We're big fans of Clay. They have really flexible solutions. We do a lot of experiments, right? So whether it's spinning up stuff with N8N all the way to using some of the chat-sharing models to generate marketing assets. I think we're pretty creative duct-taping together a lot of no-code tools."

Developer & Coding Tools

Cursor – Developer tool / coding assistant
"Yeah, I think on the coding side, we're pretty standard. We're using Cursor across the board. Cursor is definitely by far the number one tool."

Finance & Spend Management

Ramp – Finance / accounting
"You know, as a former Ramp employee, I obviously have to give Ramp a plug."

Communication & Collaboration

Slack – Communication / productivity
"We're pretty big on Slack, right? So like everything on Slack tends to have like an automation that links to one of our tech stack. You know, we try to like keep everything as centralized as possible."

Stay tuned for our full founder spotlight with Daniel in the next edition, where we’ll dive into Daniel’s journey with Zingage, including their creative early customer discovery tactics (hint: it involves doughnuts), the company’s pirate-inspired culture powering growth, and how he used Craigslist to "hack" their first conference.
